The Reef Check Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to conservation of two ecosystems: tropical coral reefs and California rocky reefs. Their Mission: to protect and rehabilitate reefs worldwide.
The Florida Hawksbill Project at the Palm Beach Zoo is focused on the biology and conservation of Palm Beach County’s in-water sea turtle populations and the habitats in which they live. The project brings scientists, students, and volunteers together to study the ecology of sea turtles in the nearshore reef environments of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Diveheart was started in 2001 and is a non-profit organization. The goal of the program is to help people of all ages with disabilities realize their capabilities and overcome any obstacles they may face. We are all equals underwater. Their Mission is “To improve confidence and independence in children, adults, and veterans with disabilities through the scuba experience”.
